A warm Happy New Year to each and every one of you as we are about to embrace the next chapter of our future. It is with great pleasure that I speak to you as the General Manager of The Open Group Asia Pacific.

 

在即将迎接未来新篇章之际，祝大家新年快乐！很荣幸以The Open Group亚太区总经理的身份在此致辞。

 

As we gather today to welcome the new year, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and hope. The passage of time offers us a precious moment to reflect on where we’ve been and to dream about where we’re headed. As the sun rises on 2025, we stand at the threshold of new possibilities, and I am honored to share this moment with all of you.

 

在辞旧迎新之际，我心中充满了深深的感恩与希望。岁月流转，总会带给我们片刻的反思，让我们回顾过去的历程，展望未来的无限可能。2025年的曙光已然升起，我们站在新的起点上。我很荣幸能在这一刻与大家共度。

 

The past year has been transformative, especially when we look at the global digital trends and the growing momentum towards sustainability. In China, we have seen an extraordinary acceleration in digital transformation, powered by an unwavering commitment to innovation. China’s national agenda, with its focus on building a digital economy and driving sustainable development, serves as a powerful example of how enterprise architecture can shape the future.

 

过去一年，全球范围内的数字化趋势与可持续发展取得了深刻的变革，特别是在中国，我们见证了数字化转型的惊人加速，这背后是一股坚定的创新力量。中国的国家战略，以建设数字经济和推动可持续发展为核心，向世界展示了企业架构如何塑造未来的潜力。

 

At The Open Group, we are proud to be part of this dynamic landscape. As a global consortium, The Open Group, prides itself on the diversity within its membership, which encompasses over 900 organizations spanning many industries, our membership includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants. It is through this huge network of expertise and knowledge that we are able to drive forward innovation and promote best practices in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our partners, members, and contributors. It is your support, collaboration, and vision that have made this progress possible. Whether you are in China, Asia Pacific, or anywhere around the globe, your dedication to The Open Group’s mission has been the driving force behind our shared success. Together, we have built a dynamic ecosystem that not only embraces change but actively shapes it.

As we look ahead to 2025, I am filled with optimism. The challenges we face—whether in sustainability, digital transformation, or the need for greater inclusivity—are immense. But so too are the opportunities. In the coming year, we anticipate further advancements in the above landscape, tackling challenges unique to our region. We will strive to empower organizations with the necessary tools and frameworks to navigate these complexities, enabling them to unlock their full potential and achieve business objectives.

 

展望2025年，我对未来充满了乐观与期待。我们所面临的挑战——无论是可持续发展、数字化转型，还是更加包容的需求——都是巨大的，但同样巨大的，还有这些挑战背后所蕴藏的机遇。在新的一年里，我们期待在这些领域取得进一步的进展，应对亚太地区独有的挑战。我们将努力为组织提供必要的工具和框架，帮助他们应对这些复杂问题，释放其全部潜力，并实现业务目标。

 

So, as we stand on the threshold of 2025, let us be mindful of the journey we have taken, but also bold in imagining the road ahead. Together, we will continue to innovate, collaborate, and lead the way toward a future that reflects the best of what we can achieve—individually and collectively.
